Well prepared

What your first session looks like

No reason to be nervous — here's what to expect with us, step by step.

Our HBOT chamber in the showroom

1 · Arrival

Please arrive about 10 minutes before your appointment at our showroom (Leopoldstraße 248, 80807 Munich). There is no dress code — comfortable clothing is all you need.

2 · Short briefing

We review your health questionnaire, your goal and the procedure. On your first visit we show you the chamber at leisure and answer all questions.

3 · Your session

Make yourself comfortable in the chamber's seat. Pressure builds up slowly and gently — you can watch films or series, read, listen to music or simply relax. The session lasts 60 minutes.

4 · Wind-down

After the session we take time for your impressions and, if you like, plan your next appointments right away — consistency is key with HBOT.

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

Comfortable everyday clothing. Please avoid heavily perfumed products. Shoes stay outside — thick socks are a good idea in winter.

Will I feel the pressure? (ear pressure)

During compression you'll feel something like the descent of an airplane. Swallowing, yawning or equalizing (pinch your nose and gently exhale) balances it immediately. Our team guides you through it.

Can I wear contact lenses?

Soft contact lenses are usually fine. Hard lenses are better removed — glasses are no problem.

May I eat beforehand?

Yes, a normal light meal is actually recommended. Avoid carbonated drinks and alcohol shortly before.

What do I do during the session?

Watch films or series, read, listen to music or podcasts, meditate or simply close your eyes. Many customers experience the hour as a soothing time-out.

How often should I come?

It depends on your goal. Series of 10–40 sessions with 2–5 appointments per week are common. We give a personal recommendation in your first briefing.

What if I feel unwell?

You are connected to us via intercom at all times and can pause the session whenever you wish. Pressure can be released gently within a short time.

Who should not enter the chamber?

With certain conditions (e.g. untreated pneumothorax, acute infections, pregnancy) HBOT is not possible or only with a physician's clearance. Our digital health questionnaire clarifies this in advance — when in doubt, talk to your doctor.
